An interactive virtual try-on wardrobe

A body-tracked mirror that dresses shoppers in branded garments rendered in real time, with a QR code to take the look away.

Three portrait screens from the try-on, side by side. A white silhouette with raised hands asks the shopper to pose to start; the shopper stands in a plain t-shirt with garment and size buttons either side; then the chosen look appears with a QR code to scan and buy.

The three main screens, from left to right. Pose to start, pick a garment and size, then scan the QR code to buy.

The idea

Our interactive wardrobe lets shoppers explore and try on clothes virtually, for a more personal way to shop. High-resolution displays, motion tracking and real-time rendering mean it responds to the person in front of it, so people can discover and try different styles without the physical garments, in shops, at exhibitions or at fashion events. It can also give brands a view of which styles people choose.

What we’ve built

  • Interface flows. An attract screen, garment and size selection, and a checkout and share step with a QR code, all ready to be re-skinned for any brand.
  • Real-time 3D garments. Polos, t-shirts, caps and jumpers rendered in real time.
  • Body tracking. Garments follow the body properly, including when the arms pass in front of the clothes, and scale to the shopper’s measurements.
